Jennie Finch

Jennie Finch was born on September 3rd, 1980 in La Marida, California. When she was younger, she couldn't wait to get onto the diamond. Her family had always loved the game of baseball and softball. By the age of nine, she was already on an all star team for her age group, and she was one of the stronger ones on her team. Her dad also became her personal pitching coach through the years as won more awards and championships. When she had graduated from the University of Arizona, she had struck out 1,028 batters. Later, she won a gold medal in 2004 at the Summer Olympic Games and a silver medal in 2008. She is considered the best softball player of all time!
Cat OstermanCat Osterman was born on April 16, 1983 in Houston, Texas. As a young child, she loved to play soccer and basketball. At 11, she was immediately intrigued by softball pitching, so she began to take pitching lessons. As a left handed pitcher, in 2001 she was invited to be on the USA Softball's National team. She has one a gold medal in 2004, and is the first softball player to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated twice. With her 2,000 plus strikeouts, she is one of the best pitchers in softball history.
